Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to the apostles ( and also to us ) – to lead us through to a life lived for God alone.

The amazing life of Jesus and his Disciples in the New Testament can be found now. God doesn’t change. He gives the Holy Spirit to us for that reason.

We are known by our actions, by the company we keep, the things we say, the way we live. Are these evidence of the life of Jesus in us today?

Jesus earthly presence demonstrated God’s love and interest in man. The Holy Spirits presence and gifts to believers continue that relationship today.

Being born of the Spirit is about a relationship that develops with God. The anti-Christ ( anti-god) would like to de-rail this developing friendship.

Sickness affects our spirits by blocking them from praising God and helping others. Jesus’ gospel was forgiveness of sins AND healing sickness-equal in importance.

Why didn’t God come down in Jesus and wipe out all sicknesses? Does our free will have something to do with that?

Why does God allow sickness? Is there a purpose to sickness? How does healing come about? Can medicine play a part?

God’s strength alone can heal our illnesses and weaknesses. We need to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him so He can work through us here on earth.

God’s perfect plan is victory over sin and death by Jesus’ renewing life in us. Satan can wear us out with sickness and worry but God has overcome that for us.

Have you entered into the small print of the contract “That one has died for all, therefore all have died?” Have you the marks of a resurrected man?

The tragedy is that we live for what we can get through our bodies, emotions and mind. The fall of mankind is that we manipulate to our advantage.

The question of sin gets down to the fact that we live our lives independent of God

Faith is an absolute confidence that God has destroyed the powers in this world that are trying to destroy your life, that’s it.

Human hope looks at circumstances and thinks maybe its getting better! But divine hope looks away to God who keeps his word and acts on our behalf.

We ruin relationships with family and friends when we criticize them or try and make them into what we want.

New Birth is being baptized with the Holy Spirit but there is something more for us–the power of the Holy Spirit. This witnesses the beauty of Jesus’ life.

Are you a victim of your feelings? If you’re dominated by feelings you’re dominated by your environment. You’re living contrary to God’s will for us.

The reason we do not love each other is because we still love ourselves so much. We’re willing to help another as long as it doesn’t inconvenience us.

Many of us think Jesus died for us so we don’t have to die. That’s not true! The truth is we’ve died with Jesus. That fact allows victory over sin.

Do you manage your life by your own mental or physical powers? Is there another power that will bring us freedom? The Holy Spirit in us works through us only by obedience.

Why is Jesus born of a virgin or unwed mother? Is it so He is not tainted with original sin? Or is it because He was born of the Holy Spirit and He can also be born in us and live again in us.

Do you feel you have to appease God? Is that even possible or is there another who has done that and all we have to do is live in Him – Jesus?

When invited to dinner, we arrive and are seated by the host who provides the meal. When we ask God into our lives, can we still play the Host?

God will often allow things to come into our lives to stop us so that we stop side-stepping him and will instead, look to him for the fullness of what he wants to express in that moment.

Are there moments when you know you should speak or do something because you know it’s right? But you don’t. Is it because you do not care or are you afraid of those around you and what they think of you?

We are taught to aspire for good things by our parents. It’s our heritage and we pass this on. Why we live – this we have to find out for ourselves.

God has given everything in the life of Jesus and we consider carefully how much we should give to God- but not all. the Holy Spirit leads us personally to let go of everything.

If our lives seem half-full or not-abundant – as Jesus said – then the Holy Spirit is beginning to show us the path to an exchanged life.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift of God’s companionship which enables us to receive life directly. What follows is God changing our lives.

The Holy Spirit is a person who speaks to our conscience. Obedience to his voice brings us into freedom.

We know what is right but don’t live it. We criticize others and become resentful when others criticize us. It is our evil heart Jesus came to change

Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became a Christian? Without the Holy Spirit we will never receive all that Jesus wants to give us.

Is it possible to live a life filled with trust?

It is so easy to become a prisoner of the world or of this society in which we live. What prevents us doing what we know is right?

There was the tree of Knowledge ( of good and evil) and the tree of Life, in the garden of Eden. We’ve the same choice today, knowledge or obedience.
